VI PEEL

Not your average chemical peel, the Vi Peel can dramatically improve your skin’s texture regardless of what skin type you have. Made with a unique blend of minerals, salicylic acid, vitamin C, phenol, retinoic acid and TCA, the Vi Peel Facial Peel provides amazing results to those with acne, acne scars, rosacea, melasma, sun damage, and hyperpigmentation skin issues.

The Vi Peel improves the skin’s texture and tone while delivering radiance, clarity, and an overall glow that lasts for months after the treatment. Vi Peel is a great stand-alone cosmetic dermatology treatment that compliments lasers, injectables, and any other aesthetic procedure. Thanks to the combined actions of the unique mix of acids and vitamins, the Vi Peel will help to erase fine lines and wrinkles and shrink enlarged pores while building collagen and elastin to help tighten skin. The Vi Peel Facial Peel effectively reduces hyperpigmentation issues, such as melasma, which is the most difficult pigmentation problem to fix. Additionally, the Vi Peel yields amazing results for those with acne.

What is Vi Peel?

Vi Peel is one of the most talked-about pharmaceutical-grade chemical peels around. Created by Dr. Abdala F. Kalil to treat his teenage daughter’s acne, the Vi Peel uses a combination of the most effective acids in a way that’s synergistic, unique, and pain-free. He was able to change the idea of a chemical peel from a painful ritual to a pain-free beauty treatment that produces real results. Vi Peel is a true next-generation chemical peel.

Vi Peel works by creating micro-damage to the skin’s top layer, causing it to peel off and in turn stimulating new tissue growth. Vi Peel also contains an anesthetic, which helps to lower the discomfort level sometimes associated with chemical peels. The Vi Peel Facial Peel showed amazing results in a clinical trial. Participants in the clinical trial were chosen for having a variety of skin types as well as a variety of different levels of fine lines and wrinkles. Regular Vi Peel Facial Peel treatments help keep skin gorgeous, glowing, and healthy.

The Vi Peel Facial Peel Clinical Study revealed:

  • Improvement of the appearance of Crow’s Feet

  • The appearance of fine lines and wrinkles was “statistically significant.

  • Participants showed a reduction in melanin content and an increase in collagen content.

  • After two weeks of VI Peel use, participants showed an increase in hemoglobin, suggesting an increased blood flow to the treated areas.

Vi Peel cost

The typical cost of Vi Peel is $250. It’s best to speak to a Lotus Health Medspa team member about which Vi Peel treatment is best for your skin type. The Vi Peel should be performed about 4-6 times a year, beginning at puberty for most patients. If you have extremely damaged skin, speak to your skin care provider about a frequency that’s right for you for the Vi Peel. Vi Peel treatments take about 20 minutes and are always performed at the dermatologist’s office.

Vi Peel Side Effects

Thanks to its unique formulation, the Vi Peel has very few side effects and skin sensitivity is kept to a minimum. The most common side effects associated with a Vi Peel Facial Peel treatment include a slight stinging sensation when the peel is first applied. The numbing kicks in a few moments after the peel is first applied. Right after the peel, your skin will look slightly tan, yellow, or red. In the next two days, your skin will feel slightly tighter, without any signs of having had a facial peel. Some pigmented areas on your face may appear slightly darker. At about day three, your skin will start to peel, with the first signs of peeling typically beginning around the mouth area. Around day six or day seven you will be all done with the peeling part. The results are a dramatic improvement in the skin.

Vi Peel Post Treatment Care

Following your Vi Peel treatment, it’s important to moisturize the skin and limit sun exposure. It’s essential to use an SPF 30 or higher on any treated areas every day. The only days when exposure to the sun should be completely avoided are days three and four, which is when the skin is peeling. When those days pass, it’s fine to have some sun exposure, while continuing your skincare routine at home and practicing daily sun protection. After about four days when your skin is done peeling, it will return to its normal PH levels and you can enjoy the final and dramatic difference in your skin. The skin will appear luminous and glowing and any hyperpigmentation issues will be improved or eliminated. Tone and texture will also be greatly improved and you will have an overall youthful, more radiant appearance.
